Amanda’s passion for teaching is evident in her ability to break down complex techniques into digestible concepts, making her a favorite among students of all levels.

Maria Ruffatto Gilpin
Maria Ruffatto Gilpin is an elite no-gi grappler and accomplished competitor, recognized for her fluid movement, adaptability, and technical precision. She has achieved major victories on some of the world’s biggest stages, solidifying her reputation as a high-level submission specialist.

A black belt under Matt Thornton, and 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu under Eddie Bravo and Phill Schwartz, Amanda Loewen is a force in the no-gi grappling world, recognized for her aggressive submission-oriented style. She holds notable wins over high-level competitors and is particularly known for her expertise in guillotine chokes, back takes, and transitions. As one of the top female grapplers in the Pacific Northwest, Amanda brings an incredible mix of experience, technical mastery, and coaching prowess to every training session.

Hannah Sharp is a high-level no-gi competitor and coach, with a reputation for her strategic approach to grappling. With experience competing in major tournaments, she excels in both defensive and offensive jiu-jitsu, seamlessly blending wrestling with submission grappling. Hannah is known for her ability to teach high-level concepts while keeping training engaging and accessible to students of all backgrounds. She is the Co Owner and head instructor of Oregon Grappling Arts.
